Reiki I and II are taught together during an all-inclusive weekend in the southern California mountains (Lake Arrowhead or surrounding area) (cabin accommodation, meals, activities included) intensive with lots of learning and healing. The class is a combination of reading, discussion, and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a full Reiki treatment using all hand positions, self-treatment, practicing using all Level II symbols including distant healing, and practicing using all of the Japanese Reiki techniques listed above. . Although practice takes place during class, you are expected to set aside additional time to practice after class ends. Commit to this additional time, which should be one night a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one or more people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize Reiki.

• Reiki Certification - USUI/HOLY Fire 3 levels 1 & 2

• The standard positions of the hands in the Reiki session.

• Giving a complete Reiki session for oneself and for others.

• Japanese Reiki techniques, as taught by Usui Sensei, including:

  • gasshō meditation,

  • Reiji-ho: develop your intuition,

  • Byosen Scanning: detect where Reiki is needed,

  • Gyoshi ho: send Reiki with the eyes,

  • Kenyoku: dry bathing or cleansing the energy field.

  • Hayashi's Guide to Healing.

• Use of Reiki for specific conditions.

• Reiki II symbols, how to use them, including practice time.

• Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits.

• Distant healing.

• 190 page class manual.

• Class 1 and 2 certificate.
