Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Please note that because Cactus Moon LLC Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations. Due to the uncertainty of our world, and the travel industry as a whole we HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Details below:​

Deposit & Reservations:
​
Reserve your spot with a $550 deposit per person. Some longer retreats require a larger deposit. The deposit is non-refundable. Placing a deposit on a retreat confirms that you are in agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to the start date of the retreat, unless stated otherwise for your specific retreat.

If YOU cancel your reservation:

If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. There will be no refunds or discounts for:

arriving late
-
leaving early
-
flight cancellations
-
travel delays
-
illness
We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers, campgrounds and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change.

Cancellation due to too few participants:
​
We have never had to cancel a retreat due to too few participants, however, if we do cancel a retreat due to low attendance, we will move you to a future retreat free of charge.
In all cases of Cactus Moon LLC Retreats canceling or postponing a retreat, we will not be able to compensate you for any airfare or associated travel costs incurred in connection with the retreat. Some retreats (e.g. International) require the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets, in addition to the retreat price. In those cases, once airline tickets are issued they are subject to the carrier’s refund policy; non-refundable airline ticket fees (which may be up to 100% of the ticket value) may apply. We highly recommend travel insurance to cover these risks.
If WE postpone/cancel a retreat:

Cancellation due to external circumstances:
​
If we are forced to postpone or cancel your retreat, due to a significant event that makes it infeasible to operate the retreat as planned (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, manmade disasters, COVID-19, disease, travel restrictions, etc.) we will issue a credit for the non-refundable deposit portion of your payment to be applied to another Cactus Moon LLC retreat within a year.
In some circumstances, we will have incurred non-refundable costs from our venues and travel providers. In those cases, we will offer credit toward a future Cactus Moon LLC retreat that is the equivalent value of the credit that Cactus Moon LLC receives from our travel providers.

We will not be responsible for any refund for non-refundable airline tickets or for any airline tickets purchased by the passenger directly from an airline or travel agent.

Travel Insurance:
The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase cancellation/travel insurance. Because of this it is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you purchase travel insurance to attend our retreats due to the nature of the world/covid-19/unforeseen circumstances. To get the most value and protection you need to select the "cancel for any reason" option and include the cost of the retreat ticket as well as travel costs. To ensure that you are covered immediately it is suggested that you buy travel insurance within 10 days of the initial retreat payment. We recommend purchasing through Trawick International, they have the best rates for what they cover. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
• You cancel your participation in the Reiki retreat
• The retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip
• Lost baggage or personal items

• Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
​
• Covid-19 shut downs/changing international entry requirements
​
• Cactus Moon LLC has to cancel the retreat you get reimbursed through the travel insurance
​
Covid Testing:
For this year and as long as Covid is something we need to think about, we will be requiring a negative test within 72 hours of the retreat in order to attend our events. This can be an at home test, or there are multiple free drive through options. If you are having a hard time finding a test, PLEASE let me know. I don't want this to be a reason you can't learn Reiki. We will work something out so that you can get a test!

Changes to travel:

We will make every effort to operate all retreats as advertised. We reserve the right to alter or cancel the retreat or make reasonable substitutions as deemed necessary. In the event of cancellation, our liability, if any, shall be limited to and liquidated by a refund or credit to each prospective participant.

Why would my payment be non-refundable?
Our vendor(s) -- campsites, Airbnb owners, property owners -- require upfront commitments that we must adhere to. When Cactus Moon LLC offers a package to you we have to ensure, through good-faith payments, that you will attend the events. This is the only way our vendors will take us seriously, and will want to help us provide the best experiences possible to our guests.
Payment Plans: Refund/cancellation policy is as stated above.
